Kayenta Township requests help with garbage
KAYENTA, Ariz. — Kayenta Township recently invested in a new garbage truck and has issued a public service announcement to residents requesting the following:
Place your garbage can on the curb for easier and quicker pickups
Do not put anything on top of the lid (especially rocks) because falling objects may damage electrical and hydraulic lines
Do not tie down the lids with bungees, twine, or cords (again, for more efficient operations)
All garbage must be in the trash can (please do not place bags, tires, or other refuse adjacent to the trash can) for pick-up.
“Please help us deliver optimal service and to care for our/your investments.” the Township included in the PSA, “Remember that these are your tax dollars and transfer station fees being used to pay for solid waste disposal services.”
